of the declaration to comply with the provisions

of the Ordinance, e.g. Section 359.

Section 360(2). The same comment may

be made here as on Section 353(3).

Section 361(1). Many pages of

information used to be published in this

country in bank books issued by the General

Post Office but it was found that this

information was of little practical use,

and became out of date. The present

practice is to print only a brief summary

of conditions in the bank book, and it is

suggested that this practice should be

adopted in Hong Kong, the bank book giving

also a reference to the full rules of the

company, which should be readily available

for examination by depositors.

Section 361(2). It should be made

clear that if the rules of the savings

bank company are amended after the
